My short stay in South America did not give me the opportunity to visit Brazil. I have a passion for the Greek mythology, referring myself to one of the famous masterpiece, Orpheus Negro. It is a transportation of the Greek myth Orpheus and Eurydice, which has inspired so many artists such as sculptors, painters or musicians. This pretty Brazilian girl in her traditional outfit with an imposing bearing, reflected to my eyes, a mixture of the myth and the entertaining rushing down Rio’s streets on a very loud air of samba. For a moment, my imagination stopped over her cinnamon face, blending into the torrid atmosphere, giving me a boundless energy to guide my brushes all along its execution.
